Just finished batson baitcaster and i must say they are every bit as good as a loomis imo
A special thanks to simon oakley at oz rods.
He supplied all the parts for it and the Kaleidoscope blue metallic thread looks sweet.
He also gave me a spool of hawk metallic "A" thread to have a try of and i will never use anything else again , it does not "knot" and separate like every other metallic i have used
I also used Pac Bay Aero Lite guides and they seem to work well and look good.
The blank has been trimmed 6 inches from the but as 6'6" is a bit long for baitcasters up here in the tropics
Very nice work Ron. IMHO, a well wrapped diamond is still very hard to beat as a butt wrap. Yours looks fantastic and I bet that blue holo thread really sparkles in the sunshine. Top job.
