What's been the standout thread for you

Gidday all,
Well as you might or might not know I've been away for a tad and was trying to catch up on what's been happening but there's been heaps and heaps of stuff to read.
There's been new stuff, a lot of repeated stuff and some downright garbage.
Now seeing as I'm basically a lazy slug you all might save me some reading.

So what thread (in any section) during the year has stuck in your memory and why?

If possible bung a link in to the thread please. Well I said I was lazy didn't I?

One of the best so far for me is in the test section. The "It goes on" thread. Marlin Mike cracks me up with his 4 words.

I submitted a topic a couple of years back on the Asian Effect and that hung around the forum for quite a long time and got some excellent responses - and a few criticisms - from many members.

Gave us all a chance to express our anger at the raping of our resources by the Yellow Raincoats and full credit to Webby for allowing it to go on so long!

Since the absence of Kerry for the better part of 2008 truely amusing threads have been on the scarce side, never has a member got under the skin of so many with such seeminglylittle effort!

As for threads, pretty much anything that has the word ETEC in the title is worth a read and giggle.
