    Any whiting in the Bay?

    Thinking of going over to the Sand Hills on Sunday to chase the whiting. Does anybody know if there is any about?

    mate went there last sunday.got bout 110 of them....they moved around a bit but where in little schools when you found them...try first off in about 5 to 6.5 mtrs mark as this is where i have been gettin the most of them..been there 3 times in the last 5 weeks.least amount i got was 70.....last trip there where some good sized ones up to 34cm...good size for diver whiting...used worms for bait on a patanoster rig....also tried gulp worms last trip for the 1st time got them on them as well....cheers rosco

    Send me a PM and I'll give you some GPS marks a lot closer than the sandhills where the whiting are thick on the ground.

    Not a secret as there are always a lot of boats there but a very big area producing average to large size size whiting mainly on the run in tide.
