Any one have any info on whats going on with pelagics outside atm? has any shown yet? the last few weeks there has been truckloads of mack tuna inside the bay. been catching 10-15 per morning. even on plastics! on the 6lb there fun. but soon get boring! Anyone going out wide this weekend? any wahoo started? or blues yet?

I am debating the trip as well, super low tide on sunday with big swell has got me on the 50-50 decision, wind wont be great either.

I havent been able to get outside for a while, so cant help you much there.

As you say though we had a bash in the bay the other week and found the mac tuna just off the front of St Helena.

Unfortunatley didnt want ot play the game for me tho..

Honda, I have found lately the mack tuna have been really fussy. hence the light line. and Tiny slugs. something like a 7gram, not sure what you used but this may help. although just befor dark they seem to take anything, my mate even thru a 100gram raider at them just to see, and instantly hooked up. and landed 3 befor dark, on 50lb. so they seem to be not as fussy as it starts to darken, the plastics skipped on the surface seems to be working well,

anyone any idear on the swell for this weekend?

im running a streaker 4.58 cuddy cab, i usally take it out in a fair bit of swell, as i dont mind some swell..... keeps the weeekend warriors away hahahaha

What part of the bay did you find the mack tuna, if I get a chance thought I might head over to the 4 beckons on Sat.

anyone keen for a fish tomorrow morning/day, mainly trolling, then prob stay at moreton over night and chase some tootheys
