Jewfish in curumbin/ tallebudgera

Hi all. I was just wandering if there is any jewfish in Curumbin creek or Tallebudgera Creek?

mate there probably would be,
i havent caught any yet, but they would have to be there,

dont know if they would be in big numbers though,
you would be better off in the tweed mate

Yeah we might give the tweed and the seaway a try on the top of the tide with some sqiudgy flickbaits and it was my younger bother Dayne who asked the question, who is in our profile pic with a diamond trevally.
And yes, i caught the mangrove jack on a gulp watermelon swimming mullet at the lake at 19th ave

Got this little one at 19th Avenue on the southern side about 18months ago, went about 50cm, put him back to hunt another day. But, My grandfather used to tell me on the northern side of 19th avenue in the canal, just back from the little bridge, his mate was getting them over a metre, so yes they are there, but rare. Let me know how you go!

of the rocks high tide at the mouth of telly used to see a few jewie caught. and also in the gutter in front of the old pool at burliegh. good luck

There would have to be surely! Especially Tally with that nice deep channel running into it!
