Fantastic stuff Pete. Your knuckles must be dragging on the ground after that many GT's of that size.
Do the locals eat the red bass or are they regarded as a ciguatera risk over there too?
Cheers Freeeedom
Great stuff Pete, looks like you scored bigtime. Did you see any good surf while you were there, heard Taveuni has some good waves? Expect to have some severe post holiday withdrawals, I'm still suffering. Vinaka for the report.

top effort pete. im jealous as all shit. the dog fight got a good workout then?
good stuff. youve worked hard for them and its all payed off!! nick..
Some great GT's mate, I reckon pound for pound, they are the hardest fighting fish in the sea, long screaming runs, attempting to bust you off, nothing gets the adrenalin pumping harder than a big GT.
Some nice red bass there too, I bet they go hard just like a jack.
You poor bastard pete.......... Tough times ahead.
i no what that snapper thing is, is a disco jack hehehe. cool looking bugger, i bet it pulled like sub
figjam
Brilliant report Pete. You've made more than a few of us on here green with envy. Congrats on landing the big fella on light gear, good work from the skipper too.
