    Hi Pete,

I can only guess at about 35Kg because it was a real strain to get him up for the photo.

There a hard fish to put a weight guesstimate on hey..?

I was looking at the nomad website and Damon Olsen calls fish for about 14-15kg that I reckon dont look that at all...??....Mind you they are all thick though the shoulders....I was trying to ascertain whether the one I called for 20kg was in fact bigger..?

I was born in Fiji I really want to get back there SOON !!

Where did you stay ? Resort of rental house ?

Was it hard to find a local to take you out for the day ?

I wonder if we could organize a group trip over there sometime the ultimate M&G !!

Good trip and ruddy good fish. I wish i could get away as much as you on my holidays. When i went to fiji i didn,t even think of fishing after tasting some of there sea food and getting real sick (soft prawns) Makes me think i was under estimating that third world country. Good fish and good photos I feel like i am there. You must have had a blast.
