    Mac tuna yeeha

Went for fish today in the morning out in the bay at Mooloolaba . Hugh tide and current. Trolled around for an hour and got 3 nice mac tuna n a trevally. Had a fish at anchor for an hour at the top of the tide and got a couple of undersize cod. Heaps of current and hard to fish. Spoke to a couple of fellow fishers at the ramp. One bloke went to Murphys and the neerings but didn't get a keeper. Maybe after the big blow comes through it might bring the fish on. My fingers are crossed big time!!!!!!!!!!

Big storms on their way this arvo. Cheers

They were patchy but when you haven't caught to many fish like me lately it was heaps of fun. Looks like a week of hot weather next week. This might get the season going. Cheers Bicko

No mackeral in the bay yet. Last year they seem to stay out wide. Not sure why, may be the current or water temp weren't quite right. A couple of years ago any body could bag out in an hour out in the bay. The spotties were everywhere.
Fingers crossed for a got season this year.
