    LCD Screen Protectors

Can someone tell me where in Australia I can buy a screen protector for my FCV-620 Furuno sounder?
There are a huge range of these things out there for digital cameras etc but I can't find one for my sounder in Australia. Invisible Sheild make one to suit the 620 but its seems its only availlable in the US. I'm not interested in ordering from overseas.

    cheers

Is there any reason why you could use a bit of normal contact?

I was thinking contact might be ok, but I'd be a little concerned that it may leave adhesive behind if it needs to be removed, which is hard to clean off sometimes.

dont use contact adhesive on the fcv 620. i got a 620 also and if you have a look at your screen under the right light u will notice it has a blue layer on the screen. This is a film which aids in you seeing your screen when u adjust certain settings on ya sounder and if it comes off or gets scratched it isnt and i mean "IS NOT" covered by warranty.

I to am in the look out for a clear case, like one of those clear plastic cases that u can get for mobile fones nowadays.

    Cheers,

I would hold off ordering thrue Screenpatronus, I ordered a screen protector for my navman 8084..... paid for it at least 3 weeks ago and am still waiting for it. Through the paypal complaints centre it appears that it will be on it's way, hopefully.

I wait with baited breath to see if it arrives....................................?

I bought my two screen protectors thru Screen Patronus about 6 months ago and had delivery within a week from the states via airmail. I paid for surface mail so I can't complain. Things could well be different now tho....... I hope you get your protectors soon Garry.

    I got Invisible Shields for all my electronics (797, 777 & 276C).
Ordered and paid by credit card, the shields were in my mail box 6 days later! It took about 10 minutes to install all three!

    I couldn't be happier!

I am glad that everyone has had good results from screen patronus, It makes me feel a bit more secure in that mine will turn up eh............. watching the mailbox daily and can't wait to cover the screen to save it from scratches, heres hoping.

Was the cover easy to install over the original screen and what preparations (cleaning) did you do before fitting the screen protector???
    Cheers Garry

Try Zagg - made in US - very tough. I got some for phones and they are the ducks nuts. Delivery was about 1.5 weeks even though their site says longer.

    Cheers
