Aquatic weeds

I hope this is the right place to post this i have a dam which has an Aquatic weed or plant problem would love to kill some of them off will tiring not to kill my fish if anyone has had any luck with that the right chemical .cheers

Do some research on snub nose gar, it may be a solution to your problem depending on weed type. Also look at silver perch.

Have you identified what type of weed you have. I know that DPI use a fish friendly spray on salvinia in NPD but they also use the muncher to clean up the worst of it and then spray the remains. They have to do a fair bit of follow up spraying to get rid of it but it seems to work.
May pay to contact them especially if it is salvinia.
