i tryed to get a jack all weekend. i got hit by 7 of them over the weekend and did not land one of them. grrrr i need a nother jack bad. any way this is all i got to show for a hole weekend fishing, not much

Nice stuff mate, is that currimundi lake you were fishing? I haven't caught a trev for ages, would love to get another one.

maroochy mate and twinnies. mate you would have drooled all over this golden trev my mate got at munna. probably about 50cm, got it on a 2 inch atomic grub, he got a big eye the same size as mine from the sheraton too, i only got a stinken bream that hit like a trev

7 of them nuggs sure they wernt jack danials...ha.ha..they can be cunning,nice trev.those maroochy canals hold some good whiting, years ago used to get some xos fat buggers on yabs, havent been in there forr years.....good work..

it looks like i might be at the pine on saturday if we do go, or we'r smashing cabage tree creek, or trerrorizing the bream at red cliff cannals, its in the air at the moment, but if i do hit the pine i will be looking for the red ones for shore after a get a good flatty. im hopeing to get a 80cm+ this time or my first southern jew

you got hopes set high for pine, flathead that size, thought theres a few better rivers up the coast fish better for fish that size! theres fish in pine that size just gotta get past all the little hungry boys! let us know what your up too, or how you go, do you hit it with a few boys from down this way? you ever been out in front of reddy chasing snapper? pretty good out there if you can get the right conditions! few options anyway, how far up the pine do u go?

i only fish the pine with guys that live down there. iv only been as far up as around the corner of the stink wall and just a bit up past the boat ramp the other way. if we do hit the pine, i will be haveing a good poke around the bridge looking for shows on the sounder and maybe sokeing a livie around the wrecks. i have not tryed there for the snaps but im keen as to get my first so il do any thing to get one hehehe ANY THING LOL. id love to catch a big threddie again too so if we got good weather we might try for them again too.

ive been fishing a bit the last couple of weeks and all im getting is flathead and school jew, no trevs no redfish
