few good fish on surface there, bet u were pritty stocked getting the flattie on surface... they hit pritty hard

Yer missed a massive flattie too, was working the popper back in real shallow stuff and then the water erupted which water going everywhere, like a big barra but spat the popper pretty quick. So bout 20mins later i waded over to the spot and a flattie bout 80+cm took off, would have been awesome to land it.

lol mine to. i had a awsome little hour sesh the other morn and the baby buggers all about 20cm (yer i no) were doing back flips after i hooked them on my 2 inch atomic prong worked on the surface the same way ya do with a squidgie bug. they were all schooled up on the edges on the cannals sitting in about 5cm of water and would boof the placy every time it went over there heads. i just love the sound the flattys make sucking in ya lure, it get my blood pumping.
