Sounds like a decent day mate, good on ya. How many were keepers, any decent sizes?

went for a fish today with the family at the big sandhills droped a few pots at green on the way out.....got bout 100 whiting and 9 sandies so a great day out really....tried some gulp sand worms for the 1st time and got bout 15 or so...1st fishes i caught on a plastic....so not a convert yet...cheers rosco

mate brought home 100 whiting and 9 legal crabs........got a few undersized crabs but not alot....all the whiting where 23cm plus.....prob got bout 50 or so whiting that where 27cm or bigger....the biggest went 34cm....good size for diver whiting...also 2 flathead at 40 cm....was a great day
Thats great quality for the Sandhills. How deep were your pots?

mate they where bout 5mtrs at low tide...roughtly 6mtrs at high tide.....just look for all the pots and give it a go...there where bout 60 pots near where i set my pots....going to hit it again next weekend with the dillies.recond i will clean up
