Red Devils
Hey Guys,
Went out this morning up a creek north of Macaky for the first jack mission of the season. Weather was bloody terrible with wind and rain , but stil managed to catch and release 4 Jacks. First 1 went 35cm and came on a small river to sea popper, then 2 smaller models (about 15, 25cm) and a Slatey Bream on an ecogear sx48, all caught at the top of the system.
Ventured downstream with the runout tide and landed a solid Jack which i watched come out from in between a couple of mangroves that had fallen in the water , going 44cm, caught twitching an ecogear mw minnow, great fun on 6lb gear. Bring on the big tides.
Cheers
