Thread: Estuary Hybrids Or Strange Species

Re: Estuary Hybrids Or Strange Species

    Okay,

Now I'm curious - I've been calling them 'ponytails' 'cos I don't know what they are exactly. Attached are downloaded pics from the Aus Museum for silver biddies and boney bream and neither of them are this particular little fella.

I like 'feather bream' for a name but I could not find tham anywhere on the Museum website.

Anyone throw some light on this??

Thanks for all your input guys.....it's obviously a Whipfin SilverBiddy thanks Dave,we only do Soft Plastics on Charter and haven't encountered one of these guys before hence the curiosity and no use of castnet.

I've used them for live bait before, while they are not my number one choice, they definately do work and worth using
