well, with the wind up friday night we decided to hit the logan we put in at alberton rd boat ramp , all is well , "lets go get some livies" i said at the house boat i usally go to , with the wind up my wife did not really wan to steer the boat in close to it , so a lesson in throwing a cast net was in order she did good for her fist time in 15knot wind in a rockin boat , but no insult it was not going to get us any bait so she got on the tiller steer and guided us in perfectly first throw the knot lets go and i see my cast net goin under i dive for a oar but no luck (the wife is nearly wetting her self ) , and no luck trying to gaf it so we left and fished the gazebo and mark rocks with nothing goin on, untill zzzzzz a good fight but a stingray so we packed it up and headed home ,
sunday morning come around and two mates and i hit the logan again with the wind up, the gazebo and marks rocks we packed we headed out to the power lines braving the wind , anchor up and start , zzzzzz mate is on,
a big fight on his little bream rod ,,, bugger a shovel nose shark with not much else happen we decide to head for home , crap, cant pull the anchor up so i try to drive it off no luck tried reverse it would not budge 15 mins later i cut the rope and headed home
1 stingray, 1 shovel nose, 1 lost cast net, 1 lost anchor and chain
