Looking at getting my outboard serviced wondering if anyone can recommend someone on the Sunshine coast. Can anyone tell me what is involved in a general outboard service?
If it is running ok to begin, they will probably do an impeller replacement, put new spark plugs in, grease up all relevant points, and change the lower unit oil, and perhaps a thermostat replacement too. Then they should also do a compression check and start it up and if the mechanic has a trained ear, listen for any engine noises that perhaps shouldn't be there...
