Not an expert on the weed haha all i know is when its there is sh*t. Slider might have some info if you pm him. Seems to know a bit about it. Something to do with nutrients and fertilisers getting washed in i believe though i could be wrong. warm weather causes the stuff to bloom but. Put a post up in saltwater chat, might be someone whose been up there more recently thaan me who can help ya out.

Certainly was an amazing week!! What asho didnt mention was that we were also getting heaps on poppers when the rocks opened, barely got 2 winds in before you were slammed when we had that crazy 400+ fish session (i actually got a rye neck from all the mayhem, couldnt straiten my neck, so my chin was resting on my collarbone half way in through the session) The fishery research boys who we became quite acquainted with also deserve a rap, measuring people's fish and asking for frames to determine the age of tailor which was awesome to see. Just wish they could administer fines to those buggers who keep 60+ tailor that are only going to waste.
