Dealing with Northerly's??
i know there is much debate about wind direction and fishing, and I know from my own experiences that fishing a northerly is never very productive for me, but as with a lot of people I only get the odd opportunity to get the boat out and it always seems to be blowing a northerly!
So my question is this how can you combat the effects of a northerly wind, is there anything I can try to catch more fish while the wind is blowing?? Also could anybody guide me in the direction of blood worms north of Brisbane, I notice there is commercial worming grounds around nudge beach but can you collect worms for arrears near there that don’t fall in the exclusion zones?? Thanks in advance for the help

Hi GazzaB,
You can dig bloodworms on the Woody Point and Scarborough foreshores . You will need sandshoes , solid fork and strong back but there are plenty there. If you don't get any after a couple of digs move to another area a few metres away as they can be patchy. I think you can still dig bloodworms out the front of Pebble Beach near Bribie. Good luck.
