    hapuka off moreton ???

    hi guys

    anyone checked out the cover of the october QFM
    there is a guy who caught a hapuka off cape moreton.

    does anyone know if these fish would be able to be targeted around moreton or are these fish an unusual by catch

    and is there a size limit for these fish or do they go by another name

    It would be quite a way offshore I think, have never heard of one near here and I have fished the 1000ft marks a few times in yrs gone by.

    the jig in its mouth looked to be around 250 grams so it might of been one of thoughs one off things
