I would suggest you hook up with the guys at Redcliffe Game and Sport fishing club.

G'Day Gents,
With a proud purchase of secondhand Mustang 2250 Walkaround I am looking forward to getting out of the creeks and into a bit of blue water action. I've done a fair bit of bottom bashing off Moreton with mixed success and would like to try my hand with at some of the palegics.
In short, I am keen to get some advice and get a bit of chat going on game fishing in the area, particulary off Cape Moreton.
Keen to get some infomation on seasons, lure types, depths, speeds, areas to try, live baits vs lures, etc etc.
Appreciate any help,
Cheers
Johnob

Carbon Really Ain't Pollution.
The dive groups call the reef off the north eastern point of Wolf Rock Jurasic something or other. Its a series of rock pinnacles connected underwater to Wolf rock and aparently run for several hundred metres away from the visible monolith. They say its a good but eerie dive.
I think Noosa Dive has a write up about it on their website.
