bitter sweet snapper trip off moreton

hey all
headed out on my mates 630 sea breeze , good trip but a bit slopy through the bar but made it out the south passage ok, go out to spot x started a drift first bait down , 30 sec go buy and im on, a 53cm snapper in the well my new PB , we tought this will be a short trip ,,,'
not much action for a while the my mate is on , 49cm parrot on board the it all goes down hill, for the first time i start to get sea sick ,, this aint good ten mins later im throwing up over the side with alot of helpful words from my mates ,,
oh well good berley lol,,
we went on through the day with fish slowly getting on board and threw up a couple more times and landed and upgraded my PB a snapper of 57cm
hooked onto some thing big bent my 15kg rod in half but busted off the leader in the reef ,,, oh well thats fishing
we ened up with 9 snapper and the one parrot
was a good day (apart from being sick )

I got very sick the other day while aboard reel easy charters. I was throwed up over the side about 15 times. Nice catch as well, the sickness really does turn a good day to sh#t

Congrats on the PB mate, nice catch of snaps ya got. The best cure for seasickness is catching fish!

Nothing wrong with being the town crier mate if your still fishing.Agood way to get rid of it is eat a couple of greasy chops cooked up from the night before and washed down with a skolled can of coke.Very entertaining.Jim.Oh nice catch too.

of my mates said i went white as sheet , but still did not ask to go home , and catching the fish takes you mind off it but when it was slow i was yawning over the side again lol,

Nice feed there mate, shame about the sickness. Try popping a Travacalm before you head out next time, works for me. Nothing worse than being sick when your trying to fish.
