brusing night barra at monduran

Last weekend Roo, Themissus, chewy01 and Slickrig went to Lake Monduran.

We went there from Sunday untill Friday and there were a few big barra caught. There were only 4 out of a lot of barra were caught during the day and they were in the afternoon.

Roo and Themissus got most of them but Chewy and i eventually got one each. His was 107cm and mine was 96cm. I would just like to give a big thanks to Nagg and Mighty Whitey for there great tips on how to use the softies.

On the way through we called into Foxies Barra Havoc and dad suprised me with a "Bear B4-7". On my barra the rod performed very well, i was surprised how much guts it had for a light rod. The barra took a junior sliver flaps that i got from the kiosk.

Thanks John and Jacky for really helping dad and i when we purchase something there,and pointing us in the right direction.

Thaks to Steve B, Nagg and Mighty Whitey for their lend of lures for us to use over the five days that we were there.Also thanks to Rod and Kim for listening to me talk fishing every moment i was awake.
On the monday we missed a couple good fish on gold bombers in "b" up in the sticks,i jumped one off on a gold pristine lure.Dad said it was a pretty ok fish but these things happen.It ended up a really good week thanks again to all.

we had a great time!! It was no probs listening to you talking fishing every waking moment, you would be surprised how much we learn from you. It was a real thrill watching you land that fish on your new rod!! As the boys have said, you are a top fisho and a great buddy to hang out with.
