Boyne River- Jack Hunting!!

Hey Guys,
yeah, not a great trip at all, With the boat not evan in the water the trailer tyre has popped due to the rough road at benarby.... Well dad goes to get a new trye while i go out and fish.
i set the pots and have a fish, changing places and techniques, NOTHING!!
Finnaly a good hit, and a little cod comes up, a couple more cod and its time to go pic dad up...
i get dad and we try some spots with only little cod coming on board,
a school of tarpon are spotted but none landed,
Also one jack smashed a herring about 2m from the boat but no hook up

Anyways, at least i got a glimpse at a jack today,

Naa, only some little ones, and i was sticken to the rules the best i could, and im gonna go for a night trip this week so, wish me luck!!

Cobia kid they will start to come on the chew strong now with the temp getting up the boss nailed a 90cm barra in calliope last night so fingers crossed it will be a good season for the sumer species.

unlucky jamie,
have to give as a yell and go for a look up that way some times next week.
landed 6 or 7 up there over the years , all about this time of year soo should be on the bite .
