    gold coast TINGS ?

Anybody been getting any whiting on the gold coast recently?

A few pro's were going out he other night with the nets and said they were targetting whiting

Was thinking of heading up the nerang today with some plastics and maybe worms but wind, lack of reports has led to pro-crastination.

Can't wait till these fella's fire up again, such a good fighting little fish and sensational chewing.

    Regards

    Re: gold coast TINGS ?

    Hey Mate,

I went out a few weeks ago and caught about 7 or 8 legal whiting (None bigger than about 28cm), and also caught about 10 legal bream (1 was about 33cm) last week in the upper reaches of nerang, around sorrento.

Im heading out tomorrow with some worms to target some more whiting. Im thinking of having a go around the council chambers and then movin back down towards sorrento but im not sure yet.

Anyway i hope this helps! And good luck

Dave, Sorrento is a suburb further up(not down) the river from the Council Chambers
