Had all my fishing gear stolen last weekend 13th/9
was stolen out of my boat in Granville area.
rods were cheaper ones from Penn and Jarvis walker etc.
Also had stolen 2 x takle boxs one with Muzzy written on it
and i think the other had reco or recep on it both in blue texter.
also a 5 drawer storage box with lures sinkers knives etc inside. it was black in colour.
also had one blue net, flares, fire extinguisher 2 LED navigation lights
and 1 supercheap style battery booster black in colour it had a built in light.
these are what I remember .
I dont think ill ever see them but just a timely warning to all and dont leave anything of value in your boats.
I have now set up security cameras and record whenever I am not home.
No good about the gear being nicked and from the back yard I assume as well.
Pretty sorry state our country is in when we have to set up security cameras and such just to "TRY" and safe guard your own gear bought with your own hard earned $ in our yard.
Once again the minority f@#k it up for the majority.
cheers guys.. I have narrowed down a couple of pawn shops Ill case them out see if anything turns up.
it is so hard going back an buying all the same things all over again... bastards !..
Keep A Close Eye On Ebay/tradingpost/cash Converters Over The Next Few Months You Would Be Suprosed How Often You See Your Own Gear For Sale Once It Has Gone Missing Happened To A Mate Of Mine Here In Victoria Thought His Boat (3m Tinny) Trailer And Out Board Was Gone For Good But We Saw It On Ebay Put In The Highest Bid Then Went Around And Asked Nicely For The Boat Back. The Cameras Are A Good Idea Tho. Best Of Luck With The Gear
