    is a charter special to big for a 5'6"medium action abu sonar tip

    Hey everyone. I'm after a new cheapish reel for my 13yr old Abu garcia 5'6" medium action sonar tip. I had a abu 6500 on it but it's been moved to my snapper rod. I saw a charter special on sale but was wondering if this is to big/heavy a reel for a rod this size??? I mainly want to use it for trolling smaller lures while i've got some bigger lures out for tuna / kingfish. Any comments?

    Put your 6500 back where it was and use the Charter Special on the Snapper rod
