    heavy jig head

i mostly use nitro heads on my snapper as i have had to many tt straightend and crushed, but im having some trouble finding them in some 1 1/2 and 2 ounce heads. do they make them this heavy??
also i have herd a few reports that tt are making a new heavy wire head desighned for snapper on an owner i think.

I only use TT's because I was getting my Nitros bent out of shape . I only use the heavy duty ones and usaully a 5/0. The larger sizes are available most places. I have not had a single one bent badly out of shape on a fish in the last year or so

I use the older TT in 1.5 and 2 oz for the seaway current. Got em at Doug Burts, Southport.
big ones are often out of stock, so it pays to ring first.

The nitros were the standard offering while the TTs are heavy. I would not tie on a standard TT if chasing Snapper
