Access to Pinkenba Sunken Wall

In times past I've fished the Pinkenba Wall from my boat. Had some success too with breambos on soft plastics

I've since sold the boat, but would like to visit the wall again, land based. Where is the best place to get access to the wall from a public road? I don't want to risk trespassing or upsetting any business/land owners.

Just walk along the bank from pinkenba boat ramp, fair walk, but you can fish along the way.

Yeah mate like giantsquid has said you can walk up from the pinkenba ramp, You used to be able to drive along the road that runs up to the cement works and drive around the back, but I haven't been there for a while so you might not be able to anymore.

Even if you can still drive there, you cant go much further once you get to the water so you'll still have to hike out the wall. Take a sixpack and a cut lunch if you walk all the way out and keep an eye on the tide or you may be isolated for a bit.

Yeah, you can't drive around anymore. Last time I tried I met a now narrowed and overgrown track and a dead end fence halfway with no room to turn round. Reversing out resulted in some lovely artwork on the Prado paintwork and some beautiful camouflage on the luggage rack

I just had a look at Google Earth. I can see the Pinkenba boat ramp, but can you walk between the cement works and the river?

That would mean walking under the loading conveyors. Is the public allowed to do that?

I've done that a few times, had no problems with anyone, never saw anyone at all. Might be a different matter if there was a ship tied up though.
