Are there any safe ramps anywhere near the city to launch from these days?

THere is fair ramp at Colmsie, West of the Gateway Bridge that is wide enough for two vehilces and has a public pontoon. During the day it is quite safe, not sure at night as it is in an industrial area.

THe local boys in blue tend to patrol around there a bit though, as some blokes troll the public dunny after dark!!

It's not real close to the city, but it's only a 15min run up the river to the city reaches.

there is a reasonably decent ramp at west end near the back of QUF. that has a pontoon and some parking........best of luck week day unless you are early.
