Frazer 10-09-2008 Tailor, Dart & Bird
Went to Frazer to hit the tailor season and had a ball. It was the first time i hav ever been with a bunch of solid fishermen and we fished hard. The largest went 57cm but some of the boys got smashed and couldn't hold a few big ones. One 70cm or so dew caught by some big dood and i caught a bird as i casted my soft plastic after my arm got heavy from casting all day and it hit the water and put up a good fight until it came to untangling the poor bugger. The youngster of the tribe wanted a shark and his time came up so out he goes with a full tailor and off it goes until the swivel broke. All in all a great week and heaps of filliting after each day. The dingoes made us sleep with one eye open as they stood over some of us at night just staring at us. Not to many good gutters but enough to hit in large numbers to get the burley going. We saw large boats get towed over to the west side and one windscreen saw a head while snatching and a 100 series lost a back window after a loose freezer pulled into a snatch. Boy something to watch as 3 trucks pull a 6.8 mtr glass boat through deep soft sand.
