Roo was there for the 92 race...when Jimmy did his 'your a pack of' speech. He soon realised he was one of the few that were cheering and was surrounded by booing, shut up pretty quick, wanted to get out alive.

Darly, we were checking out Big Ren's sweet ride. You should have dropped in, we had a beer ready to go!! As for yahoo's...that would have been Steveo the Devo!!

I'll put my money on Dick Johnson/John Bowe....I was at the track for the Last win by the mighty Godzilla......and that was 1992. I Have a photo of Gentleman Jim Richards Dishing out a serve to the angry throng, as the words "Your a Pack Of Ar$eholes" left his lips, you can see the look on Mark Skaifes Baby face....I know he was thinking "Oh $hit, we're not getting out of here alive"....classic stuff.

Serious congrats on your PBs....and all of your other successes. To travel that far speaks a loud lesson in commitment and belief. The rewards certainly followed, more importantly the knowledge bank has had a big top up

It was fantastic to meet both of you and Chew and Andy back at the house. Pete4....thanks heaps for the beers, they washed down well. Sorry we couldn't stay longer but we had a few "drivers" that were getting thirsty for a relaxing ale or three back in Gin Gin.

Look forward to the next catch-up. The RR was awesome.

The Win TV Monduran Family Fishing Classic is on the 13 & 14 October 2007 and has over $15,000 worth of prizes and give-aways for the weekend, including the lucky draw for a Seajay Boat, Mercury Outboard and trailer. Last year saw over 630 competitors making it one of the biggest freshwater fishing comp in south east Queensland, this year will only be bigger and better. Entry fees are $25.00 for seniors and $5.00 for juniors. There will now no free camping for competitors, a fee will apply.

There will be stacks of chances to win prizes from the many lucky draws. $500.00 for the heaviest bass caught on the weekend, plus entertainment Saturday night and a free jumping castle for the children on Saturday arvo. Monduran Anglers and Stocking Association (M.A.S.A.) will be cooking up a storm as usual and cooking great tucker for the weekend at very reasonable prices as well as operationing the bar.
