hit up the canals and any good looking stretch of river you come across. Light combo for bream and smaller trevs, heavy for jacks and bigger trevs.
Hi everyone,
I'm keen to do some lure and SP fishing around Noosa. Not being totally familar with the area I was wondering if some locals can point me to areas where I can fish from the shore.
I've got two outfits that I will use a 2-4kg dropshot with a 1500 symetre loaded with 4 and 6lb braid and for heavier stuff a Starlo Stix Squidgy Heavy with a 4000 Sedona loaded with 15 and 20lb line.
Thanks in advance guys
Glenn

Woods bay, and mouth of the river with the heavier outfit for big flathead, and travally. Also the od shark.
Any accessible part of the river will produce bream with the smaller outfit although they are rather small. Lately been catching larger bream more down river.
Looks for flats for travally and whiting (close to mouth and caravan park).
Also talk to Davo's tackle at noosaville.

Yeah, the guys are right,we just work our way along the river casting along the moored boats, pontoons and stuff.Smaller stuff but still fun on light gear.Maybe hire a boat if you don't have one and go further up.
