All thew best fella,
(I read somewhere that the Northerlies bring down the dirty water... My question is, where does the dirty water come from?)
Safe journey, bent rods and sore arms!

But saying all that it was blowing from the Nth all day today and my brother nailing them off Di atm

G'day Ian,
Sounds as though Craig is getting into them at DI. You will have to ge me a report when he gets back. I will have to get over to Bardon and catch up with him one day soon, not sure if a couple of my old surf rods are still sitting under his house. That lump of a dog he has could have destroyed them by now.
Cheers

Those rods are actually at my place atm! Craig sold bardon and is moving to NZ at christmas. Pm me some time and you can pick them up!
Ian
Ps. He got an AJ on a 7 inch gulp today on my smith ltd rod and 4000 certate spooled with 30lb castaway , he's calling it 35- 40 kg ( had trouble lifting it) I'll post a report when i get a pic!
Alcohol doesn't agree with me, but i sure do enjoy the argument!!!
We were out on friday and picked up 3 nice snapper over 50cm wind did get up and make it a little quick on the drift otherwise northerly no different to fish for us
oh well , , wind blew over 20 knts (n) so operater cancelled the hire . just as well alot of boats came in quick around the 11 am mark . . re booked for 10th oct , hopefully still some snap's around then ..
Caught this during a north easterly off Mud Island on the northern side. I guess he didn't know the difference in wind directions that day?
Poodroo
He who aims at nothing is sure to hit it.
Actually given the lack of fishing time lately, if the wind is from the North but the swell is down and the forecast is around 10 knots, I'm going anyway!
Probably bag out and make myself look a real tool!
um, probably wouldn't be the first time...
Cheers,
Tim
Carbon Really Ain't Pollution.
Here in CQ any wind with west in it shuts down most fish inside the shoals
and an easterly starts a feed and northerlies have no effect at all
The exceptions seem to be the areas under the wind curtain
