fished pine yesterday with dad and mate picked up 6 bream 2 each all around 26-28cm we hit some banks just up from the deep water bend boat ramp and me and my mate got a flatttie each both 45cm dad also hooked a tailor pretty awsome day considering first time fishing there

hey mate yeah we were using bait dont have much luck with plastics the bream were caught on fresh prawns and the flatties and tailor were on mullet fillets

I took the yak out for a flick on the Pine yesterday (3-6pm) and don't even get bumped. The first time I've been on the Pine and come home fishless.
If you were fishing the banks heading out towards the mouth from DWB Ramp, the falling tide around 5-6pm produces the best results.
The baitfish get herded into the shallows and then it's a free-for-all. I got smoked a while back (did n't set the drag right!!) on those same flats.
Give the placcies a go mate, you'll never go back to the stinky, dirty, smelly, dark side ;-) (And you'l catch less catties & toadies)

haha yeah ive been giving them a shot but havent much luck with them imm gonna have a sesh were i only use plastics yea jimbo thats were we picked the flatties and taylor good spot there
They work for me up the pine
