    Port Alma - Fathers Day

Took the old boy out for an outing today. Hoping for a feed of mud crab but they were not to be seen. Forgot about the pots and looked for some fish action. There was absolutely no run in the creek for the entire tide. Started fishing the mouth of a large creek when a really nice dirty water streak kicked up on the corner. Moved the boat over to the edge and 10mins later I was fighting a big threadie. Went 11kg.

Thats a horse mate. Did you measure it. Gonna have to do a bit of exploring up there for the bounty this year. Is there much structure around there, or just creeks and flats?

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot

I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges

Up here we Use Hussar as baits for real RED FISHS (SHSIIFDER)

That's a horse of a Threadie, would have put in a good few runs to get him in to the boat. Well done.
