    A few cobes

    G'day,

Took Darren (Fishbait) out for an overnighter from Bribie on tuesday. Left the ramp around midday and went to chase some cobes first up. After a bit of searching we came accross a patch of fish. First on was Darren with his Bream gear . After nearly getting spooled and having to chase the thing we finally had colour but it was quickly released (due to darren knot )

We got two each over the next hour and left them to go chase snapper at Cal wide- Dismal.

Should have come home at 1530 as we only put one small fish in the box after that.

All in all a good time with great weather and a good feed. Best cobe went 17.5

    Cheers Scott

    Re: A few cobes

That's real disappointing about Cal Wide Scott . To be quite honest Andrew and I would have been out there beside you if not for helping a mate out. Can't say I have ever seen it that flat as in your pic.

The cobia must have been great though!

Lucky 8astards. Great weather and fishing for Cobes....

I have come down with sore muscles from some bug. Have rewired the boat and put in all new switches though. Ready for Friday maybe.

Great cobes Scott, shame the snapper where quiet. With weather like that I bet it was a quick trip to Wide Cal from Bribie!

Scott - thanks for a great overnighter. However, I can't upload any photos to this thread, looks like you can only upload if it belongs to the original owner. Oh well, great weather, great fish and great mate - thanks again for a great time. Cheers, Darren.
