I went out with him last week & had a good day. I just started fishing with plastics & was looking for some tips. I ended up with 7 fish for the day the best being a Bream the went 39cm which was fun on light gear. I would recommend him but as we all know nobody can guarantee you will catch fish.
cheers mate, not worried about catching fish , more so after the finer tips to improve technique , better selection of lures & setup , fish i can catch on my own, but always looking to get more consistent and better results
Hi
I have always used guides when wanting to learn new areas and skills. Just a great way to fastrack.
Brian from Anglers Advantage is a very good guide, I went with him a few weeks back and specifically to ramp up on my SP approach. I only had an arvo, but caught well, brought home 5 nice bream, up to 34cm and a good flatty. Learned a lot from him on techniques re retrieves, and even better where to target fish during the various tidal runs.
Since then I have had three very successful trips on SPs, the first was exceptional 12 flattys, 3 bream and a good tailor. The second trip I had 2 bream, 2 tailor and a snodger flatty, and the last rip for a few hrs up near Caloundra, 5 bream and 2 flattys.
My catch rates have multiplied and I would recomend anyone who wants to get their head around SPs from an expert to charter Anglers Advantage. A great investment in my fishing, have the pics and filets to prove it!
Cheers
