    Re: gladiator rods

I was looking at the 8 or 10kg model when i did a trip to Monduran last year. The guy in my local tackle shop said he had one and was very impressed with it.

i have a sss 6-8kg one piece.brought it a the start of last summer and use it on rat kingies in the Tamar down this way( teirra 4000 on her ).Whilst i would say ive never had to push the rod to its limits its a very good rod for the outlay handles rats with ease (up to 6-7kg fish)Shame they dont get much bigger down hear to give it a good test.Mine cost me $114.00 and am very happy

    Re: gladiator rods

I was looking at some lighter models a couple of weeks ago and they seemed very reasonable for the components used $170.00 for a 2-4kg.

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot

I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges

Mate I am the guy from tackle shop rockfish is talking about The Gladiator rods are good as any of the other rods on the market in there price range They are better value for money as you are not paying for a brand name. I have caught several Metre plus barra on my snakeskin 8kg b/c rod . I sell all brands of rods and use at least three other brands of rods when fishing, so Iam not blowing wind up Gladiators skirt just giving you my opinion.

    Cheers Foxie
