Advice on luring snapper @ 90 feet

Even though I have fished for many years and always used bait I would like to experiment with lures on larger fish.
    In this instance snapper.

The area to be fished is 90 foot of water next to some sunken barges where the current is fairly strong and for that I have used braid to keep the line from getting a bow.

Now the main question is what type of set up do I need at the end of the line and what type of lure.
I was wanting to lean towards some of these scented softies.
Yes this is a noob experience for me.

I would run with 10 -15 kg braid to the same strength 2m flouro leader joined by an Improved Albright. Try a 3/4 oz up to 1 1/2oz 5/0 jig head and at least a 5" placky
