I posted this weave a while back.
Thought I'd throw up a collage of the finished rod.
Alps triangular seat, hypalon grips, All American roller guides.
Double wrapped in C gudegrod with Madeira holo tape trim threads and some multi-colour metallic.
Topped with an Accurate Boss B2-870.
I plan to share the reel between this rig and a spiral wrapped Rainshadow RCLB80M that will be my next project.
That rig will have gold fittings to match the reel. Shit, I may just have to buy a silver reel as well. Wouldn't want to upset the colour co-ordination gods.

That's a really beautiful job Owen. The colour scheme is nice without being overdone.

What a great job Owen but I don't think you need another reel as gold and silver go really really great together.

Now Sandra could do with one of those Accurate reels she really deserves it.
