hi all, where in the brisbane/goldcoast area can you catch fresh yakkas? i am land based & will be using a bait jig with a bit of bait on it. is this the best way to catch them & should i use some burly aswel? happy fishing everyone bill.....
mate i think the only spot you are gonna get yakkas land based is off the end of the sand pumpin jetty on dawn and dusk and that costs aroudn $4 to get on to. maybe just fish there with the yakkas 2, i heard they get kingys off there
mate you will be very lucky to get any yakkas at all land based. You need to get out to the bait reef off the pumping jetty and you definately need a boat.
