I'd like to hear suggestions on a suitable blank to make up a boat use soft plastics flick stick that can match up well to a Daiwa exceler 1500/2000 spinning reel.
I will use 3kg braid and it needs to cast 1/16 to 1/2 oz sp jigs. I'll build it up with fuji concept sic guides. I think it also needs to have plenty of butt power to handle the trevally and taylor that we get in the river.
I was thinking of the Lamiglas LSJ861 or the Samurai S002 although I'm very open to and very thankful of any suggestions. I don't want to go to the expense of Gloomis blanks.
