    Re: Generators

Hey Greg, volts x amps = watts. Check out the wattage the gear you want to run consumes and you can then determine the size of the gennie.

    Re: Generators

Great think about the honda is it is very quiet, so you wont piss off other campers. If you are only running a bar fridge and and your small lights are fluro's then you will probably be able to get away with the 700Watt honda.

    Greg,
The only probs with the 10eui is the cylinder head and piston are alloy, don't get me wrong they are a brilliant geny i ve got one. but i would reckonmend purchasing the 20eui as it is castiron and a lot quiter under load and would last a lot longer. also it is not reckonmended to run them on the beach as sand gets blown and sucked into the engine reducing the life span of the engine and windings. also a mate of mine put one into a tool box in his ute and it burnt it out because it couldn't get enough air. just throw them in the back of your ute if you have got one off the ground.

    thanks pop
its the 20eui i was looking at.
    interesting about the sand.
suppose, just put shield around it with no top, for air flow.
    $1749 qouted for the 20

    cheers
