Hey guys went for a flick Sat and sun arvo! both times using placcies going for a few squire in the arvo and jew around dusk! on sat scored a little cod around 30cm. No snaps then moved and put on a vibe looking for a jew and got smashed it took off and instantly thought jew, but of course after a few secods I knew it wasnt but ohwell a 41cm snap comes aboard! After a few more hits I made a move first cast i was letting the lure sink and adjusting the kota speed I got thumped and it swam straight towards me then spat it! That was it for sat!
Then Sun arvo same deal no snaps after a lot of casts so made a move had a prawn placcy on it got thumped I was hoping for a jew there wasn't a lot of weight but the fish was staying down deep but not doing alot so I knew it wasn't another snap 40cm gets boated I couln't tell wat it was cause it was foul hooked so really I didn't get anythjng that I was tageting but still a bit more experience on the placcies and the river!Cheers Simon

Those little squire do go hard for their size.

Hey mate,at least your pulling a few squire on artificials. You must be in the right spots if your getting a few hits.we're due for a hot bite soon . Like this week I reckon. Keep those details of tide /etc when you were getting hit and a few patterns might become a little clearer
