    Townsville Mudcrabs

    Hey All,
It's been ages since I've had a good feed of muddies. And seeing as I've got the new tinny (called HelBenT) home from the hut for the time being I'd like to get out on Sunday and catch a few. Has anybody got any up to date info as to where the best place to snare a few might be this weekend?
    Thanks, Ben.

I have heard good reports coming from the haughton and morriseys, and inside the cape, over last weekend, but a smaller run this weekend, so i don't know how you'd go. Thinking of soaking a few pots myself this weekend.

Go upstream in Stoney Creek (where the Bohle boat ramp is), just watch out for the rockbars.

bbb, I used to chuck a few pots in landbased in stoney creek, directly opposite the ramp and used to get heaps of big, full muddies. Unfortunately I got too cocky and let others see what I was doing, the following week, pots were lining the creek everywhere, right along where I used to sink mine
