Sorry, this one was for Cormorant not Jack

Thanks for the all your help and advice on this one. I feel a lot better now that I have some direction/s in which to go with this problem. As I said in my intro post ..this place seemed like a great place to get help and all you guys have certainly proven that. Thank you all very much.

I'm going to be pretty busy over the next weekend going thru all these options.

I'll definitely keep you posted with the end result.

Re: PROBLEM SOLVED Weird problem with 30Hp Johnson (early 90's?)

HI and Thanks again to all who posted thier ideas on this issue.

The 1st thing I did was change the spark plugs (Boat mechanic didn't think this was required during last service).

It's running fine now. I zipped back and forth across Awonga on Sunday afternoon with no problems what so ever. Thank God.

BTW - GPS speed was 36-37Kmh.

    Cheers

    That's good news.
9 times out of 10 it's always something simple, pitty I sometimes forget that.
A marriage licence should be like your fishing licence!
Expires every year and you get a 3 day pass when you go interstate.
