Not to get technical...... but according to Chemistry, ALCOHOL IS A SOLUTION
nice drop of rain today, anyone know whats happening up north?
Brian, Yeah mate a nice drop of rain, our dams need it
Good luck in the Grand Final
Chris, Mate some of the Brissie traffic is really bad
I used to work out of an office at Eagle Farm and oh hell, not bad until you got to the Nudgee Golf Course area, then bumper to bumper
Now they are duplicating the Gateway to where ??? just south of the Nudgee Golf Course I guess that will get all the traffic to the golf course sooner
Great planing, our roads are a mess as are the propossed Green Zones in Moreton Bay
Where did you see the Egrell rods in Brissie mate???? I have an S10 on order
John.
IMPORTANT
Hey all Musterers..... I just want to share this with you!
I was in Tackle Warehouse today .... & I asked if they had any drag upgrades for a Daiwa Zillion - Now because they were not clearly indicated on the package .... The salesman was unsure if the blacksheep ones would fit
Now as it turned out .... Shannon Watson (Daiwa) was in the shop & the salesman asked him - - - Shannon said that you would void the Daiwa Warranty if you did an upgrade
So be careful ...... if you return a daiwa & have upgraded .... remove the Erskines & put back the originals.

No i am not holed up in a motel at Benaraby on a laptop after a great afternoon on Awoonga as planned I'm still stuck at home
We called it off yesterday afternoon after seeing the weather was going to be a bit dicey
So now instead of being there from today until Monday night, we are looking at Monday through to Wednesday next week if the weather gods are nice
If it comes off maybe i can call into Mondy on the way back and set a few booby traps for you lot
Then it'll be home and preparation for three weeks at Faust in early Oct.

Geez i just checked the wish list------------
Mighty Whitey is not far off now
Can't remember just who it was but someone suggested 1200 as the cut off point.
If the thread goes that far, why don't you change the rules and give the bag of lures to the fisher who gets either the biggest or the most fish????
Cheers,
John.
Hi. I'm 8yrs old and we are going Barra fishing at Munduran in the first week in Oct. i have caught lots of big fish, more then my Dad, so he will not give me any more info. Can you guys help. Is that a good time to be there. What are the best ways to catch them. Ive caught Barra in the NT but only small ones, i want to catch one a meter long. Where are the best places. Ive got a good rod and reel and I've got 25lb braid.

Mate after you have caught your first Barra you will be hooked like the rest of us
Its very hard to describe the feeling one has after a round or two with the Jewel In the Crown of our sportfish But all i can say is, THERE IS NOTHING ELSE LIKE IT ON THE FISHING SCENE You really have to experience it yourself
Once you have done it you will never be the same again, you eat, sleep, work and think of the mighty Barra all the time
Cheers,
John. Confirmed Barra Addict with accute I.B.D.
