Hay Iam back!!! Good to see another 6 or so pages since yesterday.

I can remember who asked a few pages back, I think it was Fin Finder,
I use 50 lb tufline and 44lb yamatoyo braid. Only use 60lb black magic leader. I have never had any trouble on hard bodies...might need something heavier for plastics.

Those shallow diving arafuras are available at Foxies. Foxie used one the other day with me....they looks awesome in the water and have good action slow too. Thats a big plus!! The metalic purple looks awesome.

Other than that, I was banned by the wife from going fishing today. Foxie turned up on my doorstep, boat hooked up and alll.....still banned!!

I'm taking 3 outfits ........ Miller Topend braid barra / Zillion 50lb Nitlon ( in the timber big HBs) ....... Loomis GLX BCR855 / Zillion 40lb nitlon ( points & plastics ..... Mainly Awoonga) & Loomis SBR813 / Steez 40lb nitlon for Plastics & smaller HBs / surface & frogs)
5 new HB lures ( Stiffies Twitch & Crash Diver , Yo-zuri live bait , X Rap jointed & Megabass shallow runner)
+ a few new plastics ( surface & deep)

So I've got lots to play with ........ & options


But who knows what happens over the next 10 days

Ive packed the loomis cbr756 crankbait with the chronarch and 30 bionic
penn pin point with the cvz 203 and 30 bionic
penn pin point with the cvz 205 and 50 bionic
egrell b8-5 with the zillion and 30 bionic
yes, I know its to early to pack, but wtf, and no, I dont have a thing for bionic, but it is good braid

So far so good on the Steez ........ but it hasn't been tested on anything bigger than 90 ! ........ But it casts smaller twitch baits so well.......... & Its looking like smaller baits might be the go at Mondy
I ripped the 50lb Bionic off a Zillion after Tinaroo ....... It was not happy when throwing anyrhing smaller than a Classic

Too early to pack ....... My clothes are packed already ( The boat is a mess ......... Boxes & stuff yet to be stowed + I need to take out the bream gear & replace it with barra )

Catfish catfish and more bloody catfish.......and the odd bass. Just use your barra gear mate....that's all you need.

Chris, Steez should be Ok for the trip. I would have thought you would have more outfits that that!!!.....I spose quality is better than qantity.

thanks only have to trv 30 min to catch bass dont through barra lures at them but more like jackels or gulps would be happy with a 50+ but pb of 48

Yeah mate, I was a bit cranky for a while......but we had a big night at a wedding last night and I was fighting a cramp in my forehead all day........fishing took a back seat to screaming kids and poweraids!!
