I was thinking of doing something similar, but after going for a run in a mates boat with spotties fitted under the bow I decided to stick with my handheld lightforce spotty(work supplied) and installed a 12V outlet in the side of the console to power it up. The reason i went this way is that I find I am scanning out to the sides as much as forward when travelling at night, and with the fixed lights it felt like we had blinkers on (like a racehorse)

How cold is it up there atm ( of a night) ......... Should I take a Winter sleeping bag Chris

chewy,
mate Not me!! I didnt have TD sensor..I think Brian bought some. I had Nitlon PE and Yamatoyo. Got rid of nitlon....it was great too. I just got a good deal, and good reports on Tufline so I tried it instead.
Chris and Mike.
I agree mike about the blinkers. I actually have 2 square spotties (off a car) I have the perfect spot up under the bow where they can mount and be pointed at angles to view forward/outwards slightly...they are also adjustable....It will be trial and error, It cant make things worse. I also have a handheld. I find the glare refelcting back of the decks is blinding even if you hold it up high....then theres the bugs...yuk!!
I will take photos when I mount them. I tried to get an old set of ambulance flashing red/blue lights as prank....boss caught me!!
cheers steve

I've just checked Nagg's Tinaroo video for any highlights or lowlights and it seems his preferred method is "go hard with your tip in the water". Good thing he wasn't in the salt with a few crocs around.
Not to get technical...... but according to Chemistry, ALCOHOL IS A SOLUTION
